After the recent changes, I am not calling the format settled. Some things are still really good, even if a package needs a tweak. The meta is still shifting as we figure out what moves up and what shifts down.

## Ronin First, [Supergiant](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/supergiant) Second

I have cut Debris and now play [Kraglin](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/kraglin). [Askani'son](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/askani-son) also helps the priority line: I can play it on two when I need a body to take a lane, activate it on three, and get a one-cost card. On the priority line with Supergiant, getting bodies onto the board is what matters.

[Killmonger](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/killmonger) remains flexible tech rather than a locked slot. I can move away from it if I want to take a riskier, taller line with [Gladiator](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/gladiator). The larger identity of the package still matters more to me: Ronin comes first, with Supergiant as the second package.

I want Ronin back because I am seeing cards copied in hand and a lot of extra drawing. That leaves larger hands to pressure. [Master Mold](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/master-mold) is the tech card I want for clogging those hands with Sentinels. [Gorgon](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/gorgon) also fits the package as a strong tech card.

The point is not to depend on rocks. A strong pilot can use the Ronin package, the high cards, and the tech pieces without relying on rocks.

## This [Aurora](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/aurora) Deck Wants [Venus](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/venus) or Aurora

I built this Aurora deck after looking through the top half of Infinite over the past month for strong cards and sleeper cards. [Spider-Ham](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/spider-ham), Kate [Bishop](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/bishop)'s Acid Arrow, and Mobius give the package several defensive options. Mobius stood among the top five performing cards I found in Aurora decks, which made the inclusion make sense.

[Stardust](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/stardust) has a low play rate, yet showed up in a couple of decks with very high win percentages, so I included it as another large card. Arana was another surprise from multiple smaller samples. I had not considered Arana before, but it adds plus one power and brings movement. With Spider-Ham and Arana in the build, I have three activates that I can spread across different lanes.

I built the top half to function even if Aurora does not show up. Venus in hand keeps me in the game. Aurora in hand keeps me in the game. Having both makes me really favored to win because this Aurora deck can put points wide. Without either by turn four, I am really behind.

I do not necessarily read this Aurora deck like another heavy-combo shell. The warning is still clear: I want the smaller cards down as early as possible so I can flood. Spider-Ham, Mobius, Stardust, and [The Thing First Steps](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/the-thing-first-steps) give me enough defense to call it a tech deck. [Cosmo](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/cosmo) is another tech consideration, but I would probably contemplate Cosmo maybe over Askani'son, but even that is pushing it because I like the extra bodies.

## Toxicani Surfer Brings [Luke Cage](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/luke-cage) Back

Some players are turning to Living Tribunal, Arisham, and [Victoria Hand](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/victoria-hand) when the format feels uncertain. That pushed me to look through archetypes and packages that may be slept on. Luke Cage stood out. Luke Cage is being played a lot, even though I do not see it much, and I think it is time to capitalize on that again.

Toxic Surfer has moved in and out of popularity. I mixed [Kitty Pryde](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/kitty-pryde), [Jeff the Baby Dolphin!?](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/jeff-the-baby-dolphin), Elsa Bloodstone, and Venus into the package because those cards fit organically with what Toxic Surfer already wants to do.

One variation includes Mother Askani and Sera. I might not need Sera almost ever if I am playing Wong and Mother Askani on turns four and five. Those plays feel good depending on what I draw next.

Hazmat and Luke Cage remain a consistent package. The board count is the part I want players to notice. Sometimes Hazmat wins because I have two cards in a lane and the opponent has four. The more bodies the opponent has on the board, the more targets Hazmat has. Sometimes, a Sebastian Shaw in one lane is enough to call it a good day.

That is the appeal of Toxicani Surfer. I am combining the small Elsa Bloodstone fill-the-lane package with energy cheating and a small On Reveal angle, with Wong and Mother Askani as additional options. It is new-school material around an old-school idea, and it fits a format that is still being discovered.

## Weekend Missions Have a Simple Answer

If I only need to finish weekend missions, I will just play Thanos. [Watch the full discussion in the video](the original episode).
