[Thanos](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/thanos) is everywhere, but I don't think this is a week where one deck explains the whole meta. I have four decks this week, even though the title says three. The [Stardust](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/stardust) bonus deck is my weekend recommendation.

Stardust was probably my favorite deck of the week. The multiple-revive deck was the most fun of the competitive options I played, and the [Jubilee Silver Surfer](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/jubilee-silver-surfer) hybrid gave me another strong route. Those recommendations come with different demands. One asks for reps and careful planning. Another asks you to respect [Shadow King](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/shadow-king). The bonus deck asks you to manage priority for its final turn.

## Multiple revives make the [Death Fractured Frontier](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/death-fractured-frontier) deck demanding

The Death Fractured Frontier deck is difficult because I have to think through multiple revives. Treating it as one big revive misses the decisions that make it work.

[Elixir](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/elixir), [Phoenix Force](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/phoenix-force), and Death Fractured Frontier give me several ways to build those sequences. I need to see which key cards can be destroyed, revived on the next turn, or immediately revived through Phoenix Force. That planning starts with the opening hand. Seeing a promising combo is only useful if I can recognize the order that gets me there.

I had fun with the combos I found on stream, but I wouldn't hand this deck to someone and expect the first few games to tell the whole story. It needs reps. The difference between the first game and the fiftieth can be substantial when the deck asks me to keep finding another revive line.

That difficulty is part of why I enjoyed it. I led with this deck because it was the most fun of the competitive decks I tried, and it gave me a reason to feature Phoenix Force again. If I want a deck that rewards learning its sequences, this is the one I'd spend time on.

## Jubilee Silver Surfer gives me several turn-five plans

For the second deck, I combined the [Wolverine Horseman of War](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/wolverine-horseman-of-war) deck that took me to Infinite with a Jubilee Silver Surfer deck. The hybrid worked nicely because it had plans I could change on turn five.

Thanos adds another threat. I noticed opponents thinking defensively about where to put their cheap cards and which one could be destroyed. That gave me room to pursue my offensive plan while they were making those decisions.

The flexibility matters. I can put power into different parts of the deck, use Wolverine Horseman of War as a backup, or finish through another line. Making large Mr. Sinisters is a threatening option, but the deck's flexibility doesn't make its weaknesses disappear.

Shadow King is the warning I want to emphasize. If I build the power I want and priority isn't in my favor, I need to reconsider staying against a deck I know has Shadow King. A strong-looking board isn't enough reason to ignore that matchup.

I finished with positive cubes and a positive win rate. The [Jubilee](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/jubilee) deck's reported win rate was 73%, but that result doesn't cancel the retreat decision. The deck can do well and still punish me for staying when the opponent has the answer.

## The Antipolar Magneto and [Doctor Doom 2099](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/doctor-doom-2099) test isn't settled

I revisited the Antipolar Magneto and Doctor Doom 2099 hybrid with one question: could I get better value than Caliban?

The trial was [Human Torch Fantastic Four First Steps](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/human-torch-first-steps). Playing that card on turn three made the decision among my three-drops simpler. I liked being able to make that choice and leave Antipolar Magneto to pull Jane Foster, [Speed](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/speed), or both. That was the attraction of the change. It reduced how much I had to weigh in that part of the sequence.

Even so, I was still probably leaning toward Caliban by the end. I believe there's a better answer for that slot, but I don't know what it is yet. I wouldn't present the test as a solved replacement when my closing position was still to keep looking.

I recommend the deck because it's probably the strongest single-card-per-turn deck in the meta right now. It lets me follow a straightforward curve and still have an explosive final turn. The Doctor Doom-style deck finished with a reported 60% win rate in this session.

[Star-Lord](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/star-lord) is the risk to keep in mind as these decks become more visible. I called it strong against much of what I was seeing, including decks using Jubilee and Antipolar Magneto. Priority matters. I think this deck has enough power to maintain it, especially if I take out Human Torch Fantastic Four First Steps. That tested card is a backup option, and I was still probably leaning toward Caliban. I still need to watch for Star-Lord rather than assume the final turn will resolve the way I want.

## Stardust was my weekend recommendation

The bonus deck was the best deck of my day and probably my favorite of the week. [Venus](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/venus) felt excellent in it, even after going down to a 3-2.

The payoff I want is a Stardust play on turn six. If I control priority enough to make that happen, I see Stardust as a snap condition for me and a retreat condition for the opponent. That condition matters: the recommendation depends on getting the final turn into the position where the play works.

I also liked having power across several lanes and four movable cards, including [Spider-Man Brand New Day](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/spider-man-brand-new-day) and [Nightcrawler](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/nightcrawler). That gave me ways to reposition on turn six before finishing with Stardust. In those games, I wasn't afraid of Shadow King because I had power in several places and room to move it.

This was surprisingly easy for me to pilot. My reported result was a 72% win rate in Infinite, 32 cubes gained, and 1.28 cubes per game. Those are the results of this session, not a promise that copying the deck will produce the same run.

## A Thanos nerf wouldn't erase every option

Three of these four decks used [Thanos Fractured Frontier](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/thanos-fractured-frontier). If that card gets nerfed, I still see replacement paths in those three positions.

For the [Doctor Doom](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/doctor-doom) deck, I suggested Rogue Scion of Division as a five-cost option. For the Wolverine Horseman of War deck, I suggested Superior Iron Man. In the Stardust deck, I wanted a five-cost card that brings substantial power, with Klaw and Gilgamesh among the examples I named.

My takeaway is that this was a good week for deck diversity even with Thanos appearing so much. I don't think Thanos alone explains why these decks work. I want to keep exploring that variety, and the Stardust deck is the one I'd recommend first for the weekend.
