Marvel Snap has started the season without a single correct deck to grab. I’m seeing choices rather than one 100% right answer.

## The Serious [Techno-Organic Virus](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/techno-organic-virus) Deck

If the goal is a serious climb, I’m starting with the current Techno-Organic Virus deck. It is a well-rounded deck with a lot of power, and [Shadowlands Daredevil](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/shadowlands-daredevil) and [Wilson Fisk](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/wilson-fisk) fit into it very well. I’m seeing versions that run Mobius M. Mobius, [Starbrand](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/starbrand) instead of Debris, [Cosmo](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/cosmo), and [Valentina](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/valentina) over [Iron Patriot](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/iron-patriot). Those are choices within the shell. I've been back and forth on different versions, but I've kind of settled on [Shadow King](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/shadow-king) and Negasonic.

That choice comes from wanting to revisit a [Supergiant](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/supergiant) line I used two weeks earlier. Shadow King is the inverse of the earlier [Ozymandias](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/ozymandias) idea because its stated role is reducing power after reveal. Negasonic remains part of the package I wanted to revisit. Mobius M. Mobius is still an acceptable substitution if you would rather play it over Negasonic or Shadow King. After turn four, the deck’s costs leave room to adapt.

That flexibility reaches across Techno-Organic Virus, Wilson Fisk, Shadow King, and Negasonic, with the opening hand and early plays helping to shape the route I take. The important part is not treating every opener as interchangeable. With Shadowlands [Daredevil](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/daredevil) in hand, I prioritize [King Eitri](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/king-eitri) so I can get the draw after playing and activating Shadowlands Daredevil. Without that route, [Martyr](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/martyr) is a priority play, with [Adam Warlock](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/adam-warlock) or Iron [Patriot](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/patriot) in Martyr’s lane to keep the draw effects moving. [Lizard](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/lizard) is also a priority play when I need to stay ahead.

Debris earns the slot over Starbrand for a specific reason: the extra rocks can be infected by Techno-Organic Virus. One Debris line I like is having Supergiant already in hand on turn four. Wilson Fisk can then sit as a tall hidden play on turn five.

The opener should tell you where the game is going before turn four arrives. For my early plays, I ask whether Shadowlands Daredevil is valuable. If not, I check whether Wilson Fisk is viable. If not, I check Supergiant. I will keep recommending this deck. Different variations are out there, so find the version that works for you.

## Ramp Takes a [Malekith](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/malekith) Detour

Ramp is the serious deck with a twist. I am taking King Eitri out specifically for [Ebony Maw](https://itsguestgaming.com/marvel-snap/cards/ebony-maw) in a War Machine build. The reasoning is simple from my side: if you are already playing War Machine, you should play Ebony Maw. I think Shadowlands Daredevil is a good help for ramp, but Malekith is the optional piece that changes how the deck handles weak draws.

I have heard mixed opinions on Malekith, and I am not presenting it as mandatory. Chamber or another five-cost card can take that place if Malekith is not the direction you want. Playing Malekith on turn four can keep the match alive for at least two more turns by pulling Ebony Maw, Shadowlands Daredevil, Electro, or Luna Snow. That concentrates the rest of the deck and increases the chance of surviving those draws.

Blob is a play I look for only on turn five or turn six if I still have demons in my deck or if the Infinaut is still in my deck. If either condition is happening, I feel confident playing Blob. Magneto is also strong right now. Ramp is set up very successfully right now for this meta. It no longer has to be the same repeated plan every game.

## Gambit Horseman of Death Is Still Driving the Search

I think community frustration with Gambit Horseman of Death is part of the current meta conversation. The OTA from two weeks earlier did not address it, and the recent plus-one OTA also left it unchanged.

I turn to Doom 2099 against Gambit Horseman of Death because it spreads four-, five-, and six-cost cards across the board.

For the third deck, I wanted to build around getting big power onto the board because that can counter some of the Gambit Horseman of Death stuff.

## The V1 Nick Fury and Devil Dinosaur Experiment

The resulting experiment is a V1 Nick Fury and Devil Dinosaur experiment. It starts with Chambers and Luna Snows, then asks for a decision on turn four. One turn-four option is to put down Nick Fury first and load my hand with those cards. With Quinjet already down, one of those cards can be played on turn five.

If those cards stay in hand, getting Devil Dinosaur out leaves it as a big body. I want to make the opponent guess.

Chamber is another reason I like this direction. The build leans on five- and six-cost cards, while Chamber can be a tall two-drop that activates later in the game.

## Why This V1 List Is Meant to Evolve

This Nick Fury and Devil Dinosaur experiment is V1. It is probably not my final 12 cards, and I want to see the idea evolve. The first week of a meta is the time to explore without leaving the realm of reason.

I want to look at other decks, other synergies, and other things that let us ask what else we can do. That includes different tech cards and combinations, or skipping tech cards to pursue the combo work without leaving that realm of reason.

With no decks from the last OTA reigning over the top of the meta, I want to cultivate those ideas rather than treat this V1 as settled.
